Formed in Southern California in 2000 THE PREDEST started as a Post Hardcore band, After 15 years original frontman Ray Aldaz has reformed "The Predest" new music coming soon. The Predest played gigs in Los Angeles CA from 2003/2004 headlining venues like "The Whiskey", The Larchmont, The Showcase Theatre in Corona, 51 Buckingham etc. The Predest performed alongside bands like Divide the day, Narcoleptic Youth and many other underground acts. The then five piece recorded a 4 song self titled EP at Lovejuice Labs in Riverside CA in 2004. The Predest disbanded in 2006 due to key band members going away to college or leaving the state. Aldaz is currently living on the east coast in Brooklyn NY and reformed "The Predest" in 2015 on his independent record label "Dire Records" After a decade of silence Ray Aldaz continues where The Predest left off with the help of his long time friend Guitarist Jose Escalante and new Bass player Beto Schmidt The Predest is releasing a new EP due to be out by June 2016. The Predest has evolved from the bands past roots as Post Hardcore/Punk to more Progressive Rock, Melodic Metal. Lead singer Ray Aldaz's voice shines with intense growls, screams fused with brutal yet beautiful harmonies.
